Hockey Father's Day DIY Personalized Hockey Pucks with Free Gift Tag
In case you missed it, I am hanging out on Tori Spelling's website ediTORIal this week sharing a special Father's Day craft tutorial inspired by Tori's husband Dean who is originally from Canada and loves hockey. In honor of Dean, I thought it would be fun to create a hockey inspired Father's Day DIY gift idea- personalized hockey pucks! Not only are they personalized with a photo, but also include a special message to dad on the back. This is a keepsake that every dad will love!
Hockey puck

2" circle punch (optional) or Scissors
Glue stick
Clear acrylic sealer or modge podge
Silver or white Sharpie marker
Gift Tag Materials:
Free printable "Hockey Father's Day" tag
Paper hole punch
Baker's twine or ribbon
I snapped some pictures of my kiddos at one of their hockey games and printed the photos in black and white. I then used a 2" circle punch to cut out my photo. If you do not own a circle punch, just trace the hockey puck around your photo and use scissors to cut out your photo.
Use a glue stick to adhere the photo to the center of the hockey puck. Press and hold until the photo is securely attached.
In a well ventilated area, very lightly spray clear acrylic sealer over hockey puck and photo. Let dry and repeat. This will seal and protect your photo. Do not over spray as it will cause the photo to bleed.
Use a white or silver Sharpie marker to write special messages on the back of the hockey puck.
Print the free printable "Hockey Father's Day" tag created by Piggy Bank Parties. Attach the gift tag to your gift box or bag and your Father's Day gift is ready to go!
