Sponsored by Wayfair: A Night Around the Campfire

Image
I have been compensated for this post as a member of the Wayfair Homemaker Program,  all ideas and opinions are completely my own #sponsored  Fall is my very favorite time of the year. Days are still slightly warmer, nights are cooler and require a light jacket. It's the perfect time of year to plan a night around the campfire. Not sure what all you need? Check out the idea board I have put together to help you get started. Start by gathering up your coziest blankets, s'more materials, and camping chairs. Bring some outdoor games such as these  giant yard dice . Kids will love taking turns playing with these. I like to keep my camping menu simple. This  double pie iron  is perfect for creating both sweet and savory campfire treats such as campfire pizza pockets, moon pies filled with cherry or strawberry pie filling. My personal favorite is peanut butter and Nutella mountain pies. So delicious! And of course you will need s'more making materials, but be su...

How to Throw An Epic Emoji Birthday Party

Image
My sweet niece and her best friend share everything, even this emoji birthday party! The dynamic duo threw a combined 11th birthday party and invited all their friends to come and celebrate with them. The backyard was transformed with low tables. Guests sat on cushions and emoji pillows. The table was set with a gorgeous black and white striped tablecloth , turquoise and yellow plates, chalkboard place card frames , yellow cups, and emoji printable signs by Eye Candy Creative Studio . The girls created food inspired emojis out of freshly cut vegetables and fruit. Just create, eat, and repeat! Inside, desserts were waiting... of course there had to be emoji cookies and the infamous poop cupcakes. So many fun mylar  emoji balloons  to pick from! And, the poop cupcakes. So easy and fun to make. I promise, the kids will love them! Homemade birthday cakes baked and designed by the birthday girls' grandmothers. Say cheese!  The photo booth was was easy to set up using  lar...

I just LOVE that movie!  I got so many party ideas while watching the movie, that I decided to make it our September monthly dinner theme.  This party was SO much fun to plan and decorate for! Such a fun theme for a birthday party, gathering of friends, or whatever! Invite:   I made the invite on Photoshop.  The Willy Wonka font I downloaded for free. I send my invites by email typically for monthly dinners is why I designed it this way, but if you want something a little more fun that you can mail, send a Wonka Bar with the details on the golden ticket inside. Entry Decor:  When the lucky 5 Golden Ticket winners arrive at the Wonka Factory in the movie, they must sign a contract of rules before entering.  I created this foam board sign for my guests to sign with the rules for the evening. I made the ...
