It's like keeping a fireplace (within you) going. Just another log... another floral pattern. That... and 'oh so sweet' family time. That also helps to melt the wintery white.
A lovely envelop containing ' Flow Book for Paper Lovers ' arrived in the mail. Exiting! As a stationery and pattern lover I think that it's a treasure trove. Cards, wrapping paper, stickers and envelopes... Oh my! Plus, my ' Wild Horses ' pattern is featured in a few places. Pleased as punch:)...
If you need a break from the holiday imagery that seems to be everywhere (not that I'm opposed... but I like variety :) - you've got it. A wild tea party in paradise is as far from shovelling the drive way or shopping in the mall as you can get. Hope it gives you warm thoughts...
Here we are in December once again:). 2 feet of snow on the ground - check. Terrible music in the stores - check. Winter blues making me buy watermelons in bulk - check. Holiday gift tags ready for sharing with my blog friends - check!!! FEEL FREE TO COPY: • click on the image - it will open in its own window at high resolution (300 dpi) • copy that to your desktop. • print as many as you'd like in any size you'd like:) Happy wrapping and labelling:)!
Fifteen cm of snow is what I've been promised to see when I open the curtains tomorrow morning... and so, I feel that showing you the gift card I designed for Target is the right thing to do. Maybe you'll see it next time you are picking a few things at the big red and white store:).
It might be getting colder, it might be getting darker... and it definitely snowed today, but I refuse to be unhappy! Concentrating all my powers on happy work! How do you like my happy llama?
Sometimes, after I read a book, it stays with you a long while. It happened with 'Stardust' (by Neil Gaiman) to me. I wanted to hold on to the magic just a little longer... and so, I made a print . I hope it prolongs the fairy tale :).
My sweet middle daughter M a r g o is entering the world of two digit birthdays next week. I've made this little invitation and am looking forward to a house full of noise next Sunday:).
